About the artist
I am a medical practitioner making a name for myself on the UK art scene. Each piece of art is one of a kind and comes with its own certificate of authenticity. I am very enthusiastic about representational art in particular portraiture and figurative art. I have always had a creative spirit but put that side of myself on the back burner for many years while I obtained my medical qualifications and specialism. I am an empathic painter, and I am constantly on the lookout for new inspirational subject matter especially striking faces. I work mostly in oils but graphite and pastel as well. I paint and draw realistically, and I am influenced by images which have striking contrasts of light and dark, shapes and colours. I have been creating continuously since 2017.
