About the artist
Tania LaCaria is an abstract artist based in Hamilton, Canada. LaCaria. Her paintings explore the concept of paradox through an Abstract Expressionism aesthetic. Considering the colour black as a representation of HerSelf, she often applies black medium as the first markings. Keen to place play & experimentation at the forefront of her creative experience, LaCaria works with a wide variety of ink, acrylic, spray paint & pastels, and uses eccentric tools such as brooms, flowers, rolling pins, personal clothing & credit cards to support her intuitive and adventurous approach to mark making.
Why I use Canvy
Tania LaCaria loves how intuitive Canvy is to use. The mockup backgrounds are diverse and interesting. Being able to mount several pieces of art in one space has allowed her to communicate the scale of her work effectively, and the opportunity to customize finishes and colours of the spaces has allowed her to showcase her work at its best without compromising on the "vibe" of the painting.
